John Keough
I am a graduate of the Game Art and Production Program at Drexel University's Westphal College of Media Arts and Design. I have taken part in several complete game projects, each time as a member of a team of my peers. This includes my Senior Capstone Project, as part of the senior team known as Eleventh Hour Studios. The final product is titled Astral Raiders, and it is an Augmented Reality Action-Tower Defense game for the Mircosoft Hololens. It is available for download, free, in the Microsoft Store, if you're interested in playing it yourself and you have the needed hardware.
I have experience with a variety of positions thanks to those projects. Though I am primarily a Designer, I have had the opportunity to have been in charge of the presentations and public representation of two games, with all the coaching, practice, and editing that that entails. Those two games would be Tag Team Frenzy and Night Light, for reference.
When I was working on Astral Raiders I began as an artist before transitioning to being the chief UI Designer. I also took on a much vaster variety of tasks, which was a thrilling though taxing experience.
My top priority with any project I work on is to find what needs doing and to make sure it gets done. I have acted in a management role as an extension of this. I enjoy working with others in a team environment as well, and make sure to do my best to keep aware of what others are working on for the project.
